If he manages to train with the squad today he'll hope to be in contention but the winger will definately be back for the trip to Q.P.R. if tomorrow comes too soon.
"Hopefully I will be ready for Reading. We are optimistic, but if not, I'll be ready for the week after," said Burke.
"I've been running and it feels fine, but I've not joined in with the team.
"If I can join in with the team now then the Reading game is a possibility but I have to be sensible.
"It has been disappointing to miss two games.
"I want to get back as quick as I can, but, at the same time, you have to make sure you are right for the end of the season.
"The team has done well in the last two games. A great result against Swansea and a good point at Forest.
