Uwe Rosler has said farewell to keeper Simon Moore who is joining Cardiff City.
At the time of writing we are still awaiting an official announcement from CCFC but it's a done deal in the eyes of Rosler.
“It's a fantastic move for Simon, he fully deserves it,” said the Brentford manager.
“Two years ago we couldn't sell anyone to another League One club. Now we're constantly having members of our squad linked with Championship and Premier League clubs.
“We can't deny a player the chance to play in the Premier League.
“Simon has developed really well over the past couple of seasons, which is a credit to himself, Simon Royce and the rest of the coaching staff.
“We wanted him to take the next step with us, but we couldn't compete with a Premier League club.
“There's no bad feeling on my part. I wish him well from the bottom of my heart.
“He was fantastic for us and you never know our paths might cross again in the future.”
Their paths might cross quite soon as Cardiff face Brentford in a pre season friendly at Griffin Park tomorrow evening, ko 7:45pm.
