City's pre season campaign ended with a 3 - 2 win at newly promoted Bournemouth on Friday night.
Joe Ralls and Alex Revell (2) scored the goals that saw a second win in four days over sides new to the Premier League.
Bournemouth had taken the lead through forward Tokelo Rantie in the 27th minute but City came back and led at the beak after Ralls scored on on 39 mins and Revell got his first in added time at the end of the first half.
Revell extended City's lead in the 65th minite but Marc Pugh puled one back for the home side five minutes later.
City saw out the game for am impressive result although it will all mean nothing if results don't follow in the League.
