City head to Highfield Rd for the last time. Coventry will move into a new stadium next season.
The teams have never drawn against each other at this venue, I'm hoping a Cardiff victory means that record is set forever.
City will go into the game in the knowledge that a cash boost on Friday looks to have secured their City status until the end of the season. The only one player that will leave will be Inamoto when his loan spell ends after next Saturday's home game with Crewe (we play Ipswich at home next Tuesday as well).
City are forced into a change for tomorrow. With Peter Thorne injured Lee Bullock will start up front with Cameron Jerome.
There will be changes on the bench. In come Martyn Margetson to the squad for the first time in over 6 months. He replaces the injured Tony Warner. Are we about to finally see Tony Koskela on bench?
The subs will be Margetson, Williams, Vidmar, Fleetwood and either Koskela or the firt again Andy Campbell. Lennie might resist the urge to put two strikers on the bench and have midfield cover in Koskela.
City will line up
Alexander, Weston, Collins, Gabbidon, Barker, McAnuff, Inamoto, Ledley, Langley, Jerome and Bullock. (Subs as above).
Hands up, how many of you thought we would have far less senior players in the team? The excellent pairing of Collins and Gabbidon will continue in central defence.
It's another big weekend. Coventry sit one place and one point below us. Just below them are Gillingham and Forest. They both have enormus away games this weekend. Gills at Leeds and Firest at Ipswich. The right results tomorrow could see City start to pierce mid table, of course there's always an opposite, if it goes the wrong way we could be level on points with Gillingham.
City's ticket sales are arounbd the 1500 barrier so far so there will be superb support for the Bluebirds.
One last thing. Coventry are managed by Mickey Adams, he was recently appointed and he brought with him his assistant, Alan Cork. He got no hair but we don't care Alan Alan Cork.
