Bluebirds linked with move for McArthur

McArthur's agent Willie Mackay has named Cardiff along with Wigan, Birmingham, Rangers and in total upto 8 teams as having an interest in the player.

Dave Jones is no stranger to turing to Scotland for signinings with Ross McCormack, Gavin Rae, Kevin McNaughton, Chris Burke and Paul Quinn all making the journey south.

Another player that fits Jones' profile is Celtic's Lee Naylor. Aged 30 the full back has played under Jones before and is experienced at Championship level and has been mentioned as a possible target.
