Alex Armstrong is another thought to have been told he is no longer wanted by the club.
This will pave the way for Malky Mackay to bring in his own backroom staff at CCS. Last week Mackay missed the chance to bring Sean Dyche as his No.2 when Watford appointed him as their new manager.
“We had to interview Sean for the job because if we hadn’t, Cardiff would have taken him,” said Watford chairman Graham Taylor.
“We had to make a quick decision, but it was not a rushed decision. “People might say, ‘What’s he talking about?’ But there is a difference between having to making a quick decision and making a rushed decision,” added Taylor.
“It was well thought through.”
Good luck to those who are leaving and thank you for their service to CCFC. It's a new dawn though and Mackay can start with a clean slate to rebuild Cardiff City FC.
