Blackpool call in the cavalry

The Club were in discussion with the local police over a lack of availability of police horses because Blackburn are entertaining Newcastle on the same day. It was suggested that the game could be played 24 hours later on the Sunday. Thankfully Blackpool have covered the cost of bringing in horses from other forces.
The Blackpool website said it would not befair on season ticket holders and local fans to move the game at such short notice.
Even though they don't say it I'd like to think that us travelling fans with accomodation booked would also have been considered.
