Cardiff manager Erol Bulut:
"I said before, in the cup we will try to continue so far as we can. Today was the end for us against a good Blackburn team. They played much, much better than us.
"We were not concentrated enough, not focused enough.
"For me and the club the priority is the league, so that's why we didn't bring many players with us.
"But at least we saw today which players we can use in our main team. Today it was only a few, not enough, not as many as I was expecting. But there were a few who can help us in the league."

“It’s always great to have a good cup run and it was a great result.
“I thought we played some exceptional football, attacking football and scored five really good goals. It could probably have been 10.
“We’re disappointed with the two goals we conceded before half time, which can be a mental blow.
“We played with the right attitude and spirit. The boys showed great character in the second half, immediately they were on it, we scored and created chances.
“It was a very good game on the ball, exceptional, attacking and fluent football," he added.
“We were clinical but it could have still been 10! We missed a penalty as well, but I thought we scored five really good goals.
“I’m pleased to see players getting up to speed and it was really, really nice to see players getting minutes.”
