Craig Bellamy is named in the Wales squad along with Gareth Bale to face the Republic of Ireland in Cardiff next Wednesday.
Whether either player makes an appearance remains to be seen with the Premier league kicking off just three days later.
Bellamy is set to retire from international football in October after Wales complete the current qualifying campaign.
