A decision that seems quite incredible when Jones' record over the last 12 months is analysed and when you hear chants from the stands to see him sacked. Not something City fans do without good reason. It has been widely expected to see Jones removed from his post after leading the club into a relegation mess. The press and media have been waiting, pens poised, to complete their "Jones Sacked" stories. It has taken everyone by surprise.

Peter Ridsdale as Chairman must now accept full responsibility for this decision, I am still flabbergasted that the board were unanimous, and if Jones fails to turn this around and soon then Ridsdale's position must be called into question.
