It's debatable whether a draw between Swansea and Norwich would have been better but Swansea won 3-0 and moved back level on points with Cardiff and they have the same goal difference. Cardiff's extra goals though are keeping them in third place with a +10 advantage of goals scored over the Jacks.
Norwich can now feel the firey breath of both South Wales dragons just one point behind them.
With Q.P.R. losing heavily at Scunthorpe they might just start to feel a little tention. Cardiff are 10 points behind Rangers and have to play them. Still a tall order but you see how quickly things change with back to back wins or back to back defeats.
Reading are now official candidates for automatic promotion. Six wins a row have catapulted them into 5th place, four points behind 2nd and just three points behind Cardiff and Swansea but with a better goal difference.
Reading beat Forest 4 - 3 at The City Ground, a result that sees Forest drop to 8th place. Overtaken by Millwall who registered a fine win over Leeds Utd.
