With just 10 games to go it's starting to look like a play off place is the best City can hope for.
Both at The Hawthorns and at St Andrews I felt City were unlucky to come away with nothing. Maybe that's going to be the story of the season, just not quite good enough and a little bit unlucky.
Preston face Southampton tonight. What ever happens will affect City. If Preston win or draw we drop to 8th. If Southampton win we stay 7th but the last play off place stretches to three points away.
We still have a lot to play for and promotion is still a possibility but I think it will have to be via the play offs. Birmingham, West Brom and Sunderland in my view are the three teams who will compete for the top two places.
Never say never though, a couple of results going the right way and we could still have a chance but I think if we manage a play off spot we will have done well.
