Wales suffered an agonising defeat in Vienna. Craig Bellamy wasted several chances which could have seen Wales as winners. A combination of poor finishing and some superb saves from the Austrian keeper kept Wales out. Austria forced chances of their own in the second half, hitting the woodwork twice. Then in the dying minutes keeper Danny Coyne had a nightmare, he allowed a shot from distance to creep under his body and into the net.
