Aussie call up for Vidmar

Tony Vidmar has been named in the Australia squad for the two Confederates Cup games against the Solomon Islands for the right to play off for a World Cup place.

Vidmar will be in Honiara on Oct 9th before a second leg in Sydney on Oct 13th.

The winner over 2 legs will play a South American team (over 2 legs) for a place in Germany 2006 (those matches played in 2005).

Cardiff play Rotherham on Oct 16th.
