Cardiff City have agreed a fee with Toulouse, terms with the player but there's still no move yet for Etienne Capoue.
Since the news broke that City were in for him it's always been a case that he's rather play Champions League. His wish is to move to Athletico Madrid but the Spaniards hadn't matched the valuation set by Toulouse.
There's talk in the Spanish press today that Athletico have bid around 9m euros for the midfielder and there was some mention yesterday that Arsenal might even be interested.
Another rumoured name linked is Equadorian international Jefferson Montero. There are some suggestions that the players agent has had contact with Cardiff.
Real Madrid's Denis Cheryshev has also been linked.
Oscar Cardozo has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe this summer including Cardiff.
