The Sun are claiming an exclusive that both Derby and Norwich are going head to head to get the signature of City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson.
The Icelandic warrior who made such an impression at Euro 2016 as he led his country to victory over England is out of the starting line up at Cardiff and the chance to cash in on him while his profile is high might be too good an oportunity for City to miss.
Gunnarsson scored Cardiff's first ever Premier League goal as The Bluebirds beat Man City at CCS in 2013 and he's made nearly 200 appearances for City.
The long throw specialist started only 17 games last season under Russell Slade and was on the bench as City started the new season under Paul Trollope at Birmingham on Saturday.
