Cardiff City have announced the signing of 22 year old winger Alfie Doughty on loan from Stoke City.
Doughty becomes Cardiff's third January signing, following Cody Drameh from Leeds United and Tommy Doyle from Manchester City.
The Bluebirds have also recalled Ryan Wintle and Max Watters to give Steve Morison options as Cardiff look to avoid the bottom three.
The former Charlton man told Cardiff City TV: "I can't wait to get started.
"I haven't had as many games as I'd have liked this season and this is an opportunity to make a name for myself.
"There's no better place to get started - on Sky Sports against Forest, at home. That's how I wanted it to be because I want to show the fans what I'm capable of.
"I'm someone who runs in behind. I only look forward. I'm quick and I get people off their feet. Hopefully the fans will like me.
"I was in the same situation at Charlton two years ago [facing relegation battle] and every game is a massive game. That's why I'm going to enjoy it so much and I'm ready to do it."
There is also strong speculation that striker Jordan Hugill could be coming to CCS before the transfer window closes on Monday evening and it's been reported that Cardiff have enquired about taking Nahki Wells on loan from Bristol City.
Steve Morison says Cardiff are yet to receive any offers for Kieffer Moore amid reported interest from Bournemouth.
