Alexander out of Scotland squad

Neil Alexander has stayed in the UK as his team mates for Scotland head for Germany for their Euro 2004 qualifier. The City keeper is staying to be with his partner who is expecting their first child at any time.

Alan Lee is out of the Irish squad as reported previously. He has injured his knee and is returning to Cardiff. Lee has some time to recover. He cannot play until September 23rd when his three match ban is complete.
