Berti Vogts has named a 22 man "Future" squad to face Germany in Mainz on Dec 17th.
Neil is one of three keepers named. As this is a game for the up and coming Scotland stars Neil will not have to compete with Celtic's Rob Douglas this time so could be in line for his first cap. There are four second division players in the squad. Scott Murray from Bristol City, who Cardiff play on the 14th. Gary Teale and Andy Liddell from Wigan also join Neil Alexander.
