After Blue Monday comes Ruby Tuesday

Doncaster 1 - 0 Bristol City
Watford 2 - 0 Swansea
Burnley 1 - 1 Coventry

Three play off chasing teams failing to win made it a great night for City without even playing.

Sunday's opponents Wolves lost at the weekend as well.

These teams are doing their best to open a pathway to the Premier League for Cardiff, if we take the invitation. We have games in hand on all the teams around us. At the start of 2009 we were 14 points behind Wolves having played the same number of games. Now just 6 weeks later we are 12 points behind but with 4 games in hand. Wolves have played 7 games this year picking up just 5 points. In the same period Cardiff have played just three league games earning 7 points.

We could still be in the play off places if results go our way on Saturday. The key though for City is winning those games in hand. We are unbeaten in 11 in the League, that form has to continue.

By the time 5pm comes on Saturday we'll have 5 games in hand on Preston and 4 in hand on many others.

Top half of Championship.
