In an equally bullsh*t article Gabbidon was said to be on the verge of a £3m odd move to Aston Villa. It's hard to beleive that people get paid for making these things up.
A more credible story was that of Layton Maxwell. He was said to be at the Vetch on Saturday to watch Swansea win at home and it fuelled talk that Brian Flynn might offer the out of favour Bluebird a contract.
Another story that made column inches was that of Viktor Onopko. The Russian defender who played at the Millennium Stadium last week could be interested in a move to Cardiff.
It's only when you read the article that Cardiff have expressed no interest and Onopko's agent is looking for a club for him. How many other local papers have linked him to their clubs?
