The match is live on Sky Sports 1.
City have had injury worries ahead of the game. Glenn Loovens is rated doubtful after suffering an in jury against Brighton last Tuesday. Kevin Cooper may be back after his knee op that saw him miss the last two league games.
We know for sure that Darren Purse is suspended so to lose Loovens as well would be a seious problem. Neil Cox will cover Purse's position but if Loovens fails to make it that City will probably bring either Chris Barker or Rhys Weston into centre half with a midfielder dropping into the full back role.
Dave Jones never reveals his teams so we'll have to wait until 7:30pm on Monday to find out for sure.
Michael Ricketts is back in training after his injury so there will be competition for places up front. Could Andrea Ferretti get a chance after his hat trick for the reserves at Swansea last week?
City need to get a home win after two disappointing draws at Ninian Park. A win is also crucial to get points on the board as City face two tough away trips to Yorkshire on consecutive Saturdays. Next week (Dec 3rd) it's a first ever visit to the KC Stadium in Hull followed by a trip to Elland Rd on Sat 10th.
On current form City are ahead of Ipswich. In the last 8 games played City have won 2 and drawn 4 while Ipswich have won just once and drawn 4. Away from home Ipswich have not won in the last 5 and they have drawn the last 3. They scored goals in each of those draws.
Town will be without 5 goal striker Sam Parkin. The former Swindon man has broken an ankle and will be out for several months. 17 year old Billy Clarke gets his chance to join the squad. Joe Royle brings an 18 man party to South Wales, they are
Bowditch, Currie, Clarke, De Vos, Forster, Horlock, Juan, Magilton, McEveley, Naylor, Price, Proudlock, Richards, Sito, Supple, Westlake, Williams, Wilnis.
There will be a minute dedicated to George best before the game. We do not know yet if it will be a silence or a celebration. With the Sky TV camera's showing the event live can you please respect the tribute in whatever form it takes. We don't want to see or here the jeers and boo's that came during the silence at Millwall v Leeds yesterday.
